commuter thoughts

It can’t just be me who notices that Jesus told us that we were to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves, and yet…

We, as Christians, expend most of our energy trying to live our lives in such a way that our flaws aren’t visible to our “neighbors.” Is that love? Or just a waste of precious energy we could be using to love?

Matthew 22 (37) Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. (38)  This is the first and great commandment. (39) And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
