It’s true. It’s out. The number one book sell of…well, a long time. I have spent 22 of the last 27 hours at work, and I am exhausted. We had nearly 4000 books in the store yesterday morning, and we sold 1500 of them after midnight last night (in one hour grossing $14,000) . . [...]

Nakiru is a Karamajong name meaning "rain." My real name was confusing, so to replace it, the old woman looked out from under the hut and observed the coming rain, and named me. "Nakiru." The irony was when they named my sister "Nakolong" - "sunshine."
