so…this week could definitely use some prayer…i have a big meeting on tuesday, a sight exam, two sight exams on wednesday, i work, have homework, have the usual stuffage….and i’m scared. so….

Nakiru is a Karamajong name meaning "rain." My real name was confusing, so to replace it, the old woman looked out from under the hut and observed the coming rain, and named me. "Nakiru." The irony was when they named my sister "Nakolong" - "sunshine."
